1 Bikini; 3 Outfits | Holiday Chapter I

Monday, 9 June 2014

I'm going to Turkey at the end of June/beginning of July. I am that excited I've put together a chapter of posts all to do with holiday and summer sun! First up is an outfit post, just to give some ideas for outfits you could wear (whether in your country it's hot enough in the summer, unfortunately the UK generally doesn't get that hot) on holiday. In the chapter of posts, there'll be some beauty, what's in my hand luggage, how I've packed and a couple more outfit posts and some cheeky holiday snaps. I hope some of you at least enjoy reading this if not take inspiration. This is my first holiday abroad so I am pretty OTT about what to pack, maybe this will be helpful for first time flyers too!
Longline Black Bikini Top | £15 | Topshop
Black Bikini Bottoms | £4 | New Look (these are from about 4/5 years ago so no longer available)
Top/Jumper | £5 | Primark
This is the bikini that the entire post will feature, it's basic, well fitted and simple - not to forget black, my favourite colour it seems! It actually fits like a bra, I highly recommend the Topshop bikinis for the ladies with smaller boobies like me, I struggled for so long to find a bikini that actually fit but Topshop was my light at the end of the tunnel!

Top/Jumper | £5 | Primark
Levi Shorts | Thrifted | eBay have a lot HERE
In the summer, I literally live in my Levi shorts but I'm not sure how comfortable they will actually be in the heat. They'll be comfy enough for meals at night (they are pretty large around my tum so hello food baby) if nothing else, and easy to chuck on at the beach.
Patterned Cami | £3 (on sale last year) | New Look
Black Maxi Skirt | £17.99 | New Look
This for me is for a more elegant, classy and fancy evening, sophisticated but a light and airy outfit. A maxi skirt is also really handy for evenings on the beach, when it cools off ever slightly. It's easy to chuck in a beach bag for during the day too!
'My Neppy Tee' | £4 | Primark
Floral Shorts | £4 | Primark
This is more my casual stroll around town look after being on the beach, it doesn't look too in your face, you can't I'm even wearing the bikini so it's a great little cover up. Primark do these shorts in much nicer patterns too this year (which I did try to pick up but unfortunately didn't have my size, gutted) and they're so cheap you can't go wrong!

So that was chapter one, all done and dusted. 3 very simple, maybe too simple for most people, easy outfits for summer sun! I hope some of you found this somewhat interesting, hopefully useful to a few of you! Keep a look out for chapter 2 coming your way soon!

Are you going on holiday? I'd love to know where you're jetting off!

  1. I'm in love with fishnet tops, bought one recently and I adore it, I think they're really good for summer because they can go with any outfit!xx

  2. I'm basically just jealous you're going on holiday lol. You look very ready! Have to say I do love the fishnet top as well and nothing better than some good fitting denim cutoffs!
