Black Chandelier | Outfit of the Day ♥

Sunday, 2 March 2014

Floral Cropped Blouse | Primark | £3 (on sale)
High Waisted Jeans | Primark | £10
Black Hoody | New Look (mens) | £8 (on sale)
Leather Jacket | DIY
Scarf | Next | £14
Yet again, I forget to take photos of my shoes! In this case they weren't exciting anyway, I just wore some cheap Chelsea Boots from Primark - and they look worn out and not very nice if I'm honest. Anyway!

I recently had my eyes tested and ordered my new glasses, my best friend has been home from uni and offered to come with me to pick them up to be fitted so I made a little more effort than I would've done. I'll insert a picture of me wearing said glasses at the bottom of the post! But it was nice to have her back for a short while. Anyway! I love love love these jeans, they are the best fitting jeans I have ever tried on in my entire life, they make my bum look good, make my legs look nice and they actually fit my tiny waist.

I love the blouse too but I think I just love it because it was so cheap and because it is so versatile. I've also worn this blouse as almost a kimono over a black body con dress to add some colour on a night out, it surprisingly worked really well using it like that too! It is cropped so in the summer I can see me getting quite a lot of wear out of it teamed with some of my high waisted skater skirts and shorts!

These are my new glasses for anyone who is interested. I know most of the time my posts don't include my glasses due to lens flare and generally just looking bad, but they are exactly the same as my old frames just a light tortoise shell, and they're slightly smaller so they fit my tiny head. You'd never believe how hard it was to find an opticians that actually cater for 'petite' heads!

Title Ref: Biffy Clyro | Black Chandelier
Everyone has heard of Biffy Clyro (if you haven't where have you been?!) so I won't ramble too much about them, but I have been loving their album Opposites again! Sometimes I just forget about bands and albums that I love, but I always end up rediscovering and remembering just how much I love them. February was a massive rediscovery for Biffy.

Hope you've all had a good weekend!

  1. Wow I love that blouse! Thinking I will be popping into Primark soon. Your glasses look very nice by the way, I have the same problem with glare as well

  2. Love the blouse and jeans. What do you think of the quality of the Primark jeans and would you recommend them? Do they wash well? (I'm so old haha)

    1. I really didn't think they would, I thought they'd lose shape after a days wear and go baggy but they really don't! They are a little uncomfy to wear after they've been washed though, not stiff but not soft if that makes any sense. I own two pairs of these now and I really would recommend them over the Topshop Joni jeans!
