I recently picked up Soap & Glory's Glow All Out (£11) in a very naughty boots splurge. I'm not a big fan of highlighters so I will make that point first - when I say fan, I just don't think they compliment my very oily skin! However this is a pinkier toned highlight which I felt would be more subtle to me (a massive highlight newbie) and a lot easier to apply and get the hang of. It just seemed a little less scary than the majority of other highlights do.
As you can see it's much more of a peachy/pink highlight, it's not just glitter either which I was scared it would be. It's actually incredibly flattering and really easy to apply. I found it's hard to apply 'too much' of this though, so if you're after a full on strong highlight - this probably is not for you. It is beautifully embossed and has the cutest packaging which is a massive bonus.
On to how it looks on the skin:
This picture is kind of irrelevant considering how over exposed it is, however I'm posting it because you can clearly see that this highlighter doesn't add any extra 'colour' to the cheeks. In the pan it does look very pink and warm toned but it really doesn't come off that way on the face.
Highlighter is SO hard to photograph, seriously. This photo took me a good 20 minutes to get! However you can see pretty well the kind of 'glow' it gives. It isn't full on shimmer/glitter, there is a LOT of shimmer but it's really not that full on. It has this real pretty subtle radiance to it that I have literally just fallen in love with. It really just adds a really nice touch! I can't put into words how much I actually love this. To say I'm not a highlight girl, this is the perfect highlight for me. I think for the more tanned/not so fair ladies this will be more of an obvious highlight but for me, a pasty white lady, it's just subtle enough to add something, but not too in your face that people would think I'm a glitter ball!
Soap and Glory are slowly becoming one of my all time favourite brands for both bathing, skincare and make up, even though they're slightly more pricey than most other drugstore brands, I do feel like you get what you pay for with S&G.
Have you tried any of the Soap and Glory make up?
