eBay Make Up Brushes // Review ♥

Wednesday, 18 September 2013

A month or so ago I purchased a 12 piece brush set off eBay for £7.98, I will leave the link HERE (they are an British seller so there's no long wait for these to come either!)
As you can see, they are very visually appealing brushes, they're cute, pink and girly - not to mention they are also REALLY soft. They come in a little roll wrap, so they're easy to travel with and it keeps them protected with everyday use. They feel good quality and apply make up wonderfully.
It came with 4 brushes for the face, a foundation brush, a powder or even a blusher brush, a contour brush and a stippling brush. The stippling brush isn't as dense as I'd like but saying that, it works amazingly at applying blusher and highlight - both creams and powder.
So that leaves 8 brushes for 'eyes', I find some of the brushes quite multipurpose, the larger eyeshadow brush is amazing to pat concealer in and the small angled brush is not only good for eyeliner but for eyebrows too. The eye brushes are very dense and not... fluffy but they're incredible for packing on colour and the detail brushes are amazing for crease blending!

For £8 (all but two pence) these brushes really did exceed my expectations. I only really bought them because I was in need of some eye shadow brushes, and I couldn't justify spending £20+ on some when I really don't wear eye shadow that much. I would highly recommend eBay if you are just starting out with make up or just want some cheaper brushes to play about with, or like me, just can't justify spending money. They are in no means professional or on par with brushes like Mac or Real Techniques but they are a good alternative! And for now they have suppressed my need to go out and purchase the Real Technique brushes - my bank is very grateful eBay.

Have you bought any brushes from eBay before?

ps. these look so so beautiful on your dressing table/make up area.
