MUA £1 Bargains // Blushers! ♥

Wednesday, 19 June 2013

If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'll understand my love/love relationship with the brand MUA (Makeup Academy), I have done a previous review on their Power Pout lipsticks (SEE HERE) and their new blusher shades are no different. I am in love.
In the pan, 'Marshmallow' looks pretty terrifying, specially to a pale lady like myself. I was terrified I'd look like a clown, but marshmallow actually is a subtle rose pink blush. Nothing over the top, just a subtle flush of colour on the cheeks.
I'll just put it out there first, Lolly is my favourite shade in MUA's entire blush collection. For a pale girl to wear a peach-y orange-y colour is difficult. Finding the right shade to flatter my skin is a mission, but this blusher is just perfect in all the right ways. It surprisingly is so flattering with my skin tone. It's a peachy shade with very pale orange tones running through it. It's perfect for the summertime.

Overall, I do love MUA's range of blushers and they have shades to suit every skin tone, and the best bit is that they're only £1. Yes. £1. And to say they are only £1 they are pretty good quality and they're definitely well pigmented. I want to pick some more up in the near feature but deciding what shades is the tricky bit! You can pick MUA up online HERE or in store in most Superdrug stores.
Have any of you guys tried any of the new MUA blusher shades? :-) xo
